Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching tem everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

Prayer

The elders are very keen to encourage each of our prayer lives - both individual and with others. Here are some ways you could get involved.

KEEPING PEOPLE POSTED

You may have noticed Lister Hills bright new post box. It is in the corridor at the top of the sanctuary steps. It is not a reminder to post your cards early for next Christmas. It is designed for prayer requests, forms for which are in the rack alongside. We are welcoming prayer requests from non church goers who use the building, as much as from Listerhillers. The requests will be collected and prayed for at the Church’s Tuesday evening prayer meeting – at the home of Peter and Cynthia. Thanks to Rex Stirland for providing, lettering and fitting the new prayer box on behalf of Lister Hills pastoral ministry team.

Prayer Cards:

If you have not yet received a prayer card / bookmark, or if you would like some more, there is a box with plenty of them on the stage. Please take them and use them in your personal prayer time.

TEXT MESSAGE ALERTS

The Church has a text messaging service which sends out prayer requests and information. If you would like to receive these and you are not already on the list please see Margaret.

GIFT AID

If you are a tax payer and give regularly to Lister Hill, please would you consider using Gift Aid – which means that the church can reclaim the tax paid on the amount you give. For more information, please speak to Robert.
